Muay Thai
Training at Dorchester AGOGE is built around the development of well-rounded Martial Athletes.
All training is delivered through the AGOGE Development System, integrating Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Strength & Conditioning within a structured and progressive approach.
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.
— Aristotle
Muay Thai is the striking element of the system.
Training develops effective use of punches, kicks, knees, and elbows through structured drilling and pad work.
Muay Thai is often referred to as the “Art of Eight Limbs.”
Dorchester AGOGE is affiliated to The Phraya Pichai Muay Thai association and regularly hosts head instructor Bob Spour for seminars and gradings.
How Training is Structured
Training sessions are categorised as conditioning, skill development or strength training.
The balance between these is managed through the AGOGE Development System to ensure consistent progress over time, without unnecessary fatigue or injury.
Entry into Training

New clients do not enter group classes immediately.
